So if I am looking at the brackets correctly I think the bears are the number 1 seed of the national division? Good chance to take home the gold!

We'll have to do some scouting on Corners Bar to really know that, Stang. We can't just assume, that's the start to a tragic end.

There's one team in our bracket that beat us - Diamonds Upsidedown. As I remember, we played a horrible game of hockey that night. Jacques Lemaire would not have been proud. The Torpedo 2 played us to a tie in a tough game during week 2, but I think that was a case of jitters on our part. The Russians had a fearsome reputation that has somewhat tarnished during the season. Should we play them again, we'll have to slap them around and make them our Ulgas.

I see "HC Torpedo 2" was the last seed in your tournament division.... Yet made the title game. Are there some shenanigans going on with them?

I wouldn't doubt it. The team we played on Sunday skated and set plays completely unlike the team we played on July 19, when we beat them 9-2. It seems like it would be par for the course this summer.

I could see the HC Torpedo 2 having reason for putting in a few ringers. I hear Russian woman only put out for big, strong winners, not teams that go 1-7-2 and get knocked out before the big game.
